Our volunteers and supporters enable us to accomplish our work – and such important work it is. Who can measure warmth? Who can measure the gift of knowing a stranger whom you will never meet cares about you? Who could understand that a simple thing like a pair of socks provides these things? You and the sock recipient understand. Thank you for allowing Comfort Socks to be a way for your compassion to be known.
Love is what Comfort Socks volunteers give. Early in December Miss L'lena of Shepherds Assembly and Terry Garrison, generous giver of his time lovingly placed ribbons were set around three socks, with a hidden surprise or two in each one. Good Shepherd guests were so grateful to receive Comfort Socks love. Thank you, Miss L’lena and Terry, We love you both and thank you for your service.

Their service to Comfort Socks and to many other non-profits in our local community is simply amazing. During November, Neighbors in Service collected 6 huge bags of socks donated by the generous Brunswick Plantation Community residents. These socks mean the difference between a cold sleepless night and warm peaceful one. Neighbors in Service, thank you for an outstanding job of giving comfort from the heart! Featured in Picture are Neighbor in Service leaders Dolores Matern, Jeannine Chomiak and Volunteers !

our Friends at Stand U for Kids –
It takes many community partners to take care of our kids, and this is a huge thank-you to our wonderful friends at Comfort Socks for being such a continuing part of our outreach efforts. Each time we stop to talk with a young person who is struggling with life on the street, it's as if the Comfort Socks team is standing with us, giving hope and encouragement with each warm and dry pair of socks we give.
