Comfort Socks Newsletter - March 2014
New Socks for Homeless Shelters
For the Rains Come - Not Only When April Showers.....
many times have you stepped in a puddle, wishing you had an umbrella to
keep the rain away? That horrible feeling of cold, wet feet is
something that the street homeless live with far too many days. We see
socks as an Umbrella Covering, with warmth and comfort keeping the rain
of their lives away for a while. Please support the heart of our
Comfort the Feet, Comfort the Soul.
The Perfect Pair
and Shoes Go Perfect Together. That's why Comfort Socks and Power
Walking Ministries are pairing up to bring new socks and shoes to our
local community, students and the homeless.
New Mens Crew Length
Socks and Boys Athletic Shoes (sizes 1 - adult) can be dropped
off at various locations in Shallotte and Southport from April 15 - May
26, 2014 (a full list of drop off locations can be found at http://comfortsocks.org/fb_challenge.php).
