New Socks for Homeless Shelters

Comfort the Feet, Comfort the Soul

Soft socks, who would have thought they could mean so much? It's a lonely place to be, shuffled from door, to sidewalk, to alley way. Is a warm and dry pair of socks too much to ask? Not for us. Join with us in our heart to Comfort the Feet, Comfort the Soul.

We chose one week this month and shared songs that speak to our mission. We posted a different song each day, and noted a part of the song we especially love. If you have any favorite songs that move you to compassion, please let us know.

“Music is an outburst of the soul.”
― Frederick Delius

Give a Little Bit by Supertramp

Everybody is a star by Sly & the Family Stone

He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother by The Hollies

The Man in the Mirror by Michael Jackson (Clip from Joyful Noise)

Help by the Beatles

We hope you have enjoyed a week long journey of compassion via the music highway. We welcome you to reach out and become a part of our work.
Thanks for listening

Our Wonderful Partnerships.

Joy Junction Chief Operating Officer Jennifer Munsey (left) and Transportation Manager Diana Lane gladly accept another donation of 150 socks from Comfort Socks and Your City Sports. This generous donation will be split up and offered to those in need at our shelter and to those in need out in the community from our Lifeline of Hope mobile food truck.

We love doing good with Your City Sports - These socks went to the Freezing Nights Ministries in Puyallup WA - Freezing Nights is a group of churches that take turns becoming in essence a homeless shelter during the coldest months winter. 320 pairs of warm socks will certainly bless many people

When we first started out, we connected with Northpines, Inc ( Every single time we have reached out to them for help, They Have Been There! Our mission to give new sock comfort to the homeless is extremely important to Northpines. For 7 years they have donated to our cause, please reach out to them and say "Thank you, Northpines, for your Comfort Socks heart and commitment" A card would be nice, a phone call even better, and a purchase is awesome.

We Pray

Did you know that Comfort Socks prays over every pair of socks we send out? We believe in the power of prayer of faith. Come join us on our mission to spread the Comfort of New Socks to the homeless all across America. Comfort the feet, Comfort the Soul!

Come On and Keep Encouraging Us!

We were joyful at an email saying this…."Dear Comfort Socks, I wanted to formally thank you for providing socks to my community here in Florida. With the weather so hot and the rainy season upon us my heart goes out to all the uncovered feet. Your newsletter this month has touched my heart. I am going to take one of my sons infant socks and keep it by his crib to remember to pray for everyone without a home and pray for comfort socks too while we give God the glory. Thank you for the inspiration to teach my child to pray for others. Also, congratulations on a new facility.
                                                                                 Anyone notice anything different?

Please prayerfully consider a monthly giving amount
